When a practice moves to a system which is planned to be shared with organisations outside the practice (a Single Shared EPR - SSEPR - such as CSC/TPP SystmOne and Lorenzo level 4) is installed, what are the mechanisms for informing the patients affected, and is it possible to have patient optout - whether of having a shared record or of allowing access - in a SSEPR or Detailed Care Record when that DCR is a SSEPR - the Lorenzo model?
