    Aspergillosis underdiagnosed?

Calculations of the incidence of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) suggest upwards of 25 000 cases may be present in the UK though this number does not resemble the number of cases being seen in Trust clinics.

What level of understanding of the diagnosis of this illness is prevalent amongst GP's, are they aware of current treatment using antifungals and are they aware of patient support groups available online?
